Operating Engineer - Relief /On-call
This position reports to the Chief Operating Engineer but
works independently, operates high-pressure steam plant and
centrifugal chillers and related equipment according to the
laws of the State of Minnesota and standard boiler operating
practices. Responds to alarms and emergencies, reports
equipment failure and changes in machinery status and
conducts required inspections with documentation to ensure
continuous operation for the entire college campus.
This position fills in for PTO (Paid Time Off) to maintain
24 hr.-7 days/week coverage.
RequiRements:
High School Diploma or equivalent; First Class B Stationary
Engineer License. Three years work experience with boiler
operation and maintenance.
Must pass a Pre-Employment Physical.
staRt Date: As soon as possible.
